Student internship in Orthotics and Prosthetics

Are you interested in a student internship as an Orthopedic Technician (m/f/d)?

If you would like to improve people’s quality of life, work in a hands-on technical role, and have direct contact with patients, then apply for an internship in this field.

You will gain initial insights into the world of prosthetics and orthotics, observe technicians at work, and learn how custom orthopedic devices are manufactured for individuals.

What to expect during the internship:

• Creating and modeling plaster or silicone casts of the upper extremities

• Learning the basics of plastics processing

• Manufacturing orthotic splints

• Occasional contact with patients

What you should bring:

• Strong communication skills and empathy

• Manual dexterity

• Interest in anatomy, mechanics, and various materials

• Motivation and interest in the profession

• Fluent German language skills are required (C1 level)
